WHAT DO I NEED FOR A LESSON?
Just a guitar! Mike’s studio is well-equipped with amplifiers and such. There’s no need for you to haul any heavy equipment.
WHAT IF I HAVE NEVER PLAYED AN INSTRUMENT?
It doesn't matter, you can start at any age. Did you know that the French artist Gauguin didn't start painting until his 40's?
HOW DO YOU SCHEDULE LESSONS?
Your private half-hour lesson is at the same time every week, (for example: 4:30 on Thursdays).
HOW DO YOU BILL FOR LESSONS?
Lessons are enrolled in monthly sessions that last 4-5 weeks. Each weekly, half hour lesson costs $35. Payment is made through a major credit card that is auto-charged each month. Notice of discontinuation must be given by the 28th of the month to avoid the next month's charge. Students who begin in the middle of a session can pay a pro-rated amount.
CAN I PAY BY CHECK OR CASH?
Yes. Payments made by cash or check are for two months of lessons at a time.
WHAT IF I MISS A LESSON?
The last Saturday of each month is used to reschedule a cancelled lesson during a session. These make-up lessons will expire after the next session. Students can also swap times. Missed lessons do not discount prices of future sessions.
WHAT IF I NEED TO STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF A SESSION?
Refunds for an unfinished session will be issued in the form of a lesson credit slip to be used whenever you’re ready to start-up again.
